why you sometimes wish the phone wouldn't ring...

I got a call from my mom's phone, and wasn't able to answer it. I checked my voicemail to hear my younger brother's voice cracking and he was crying... His first few words told it all

"Si lolo..."

He couldn't say the words, he just told me to call them back asap.

I can't believe he's gone. I had known that he hasn't been feeling well. But my mom told me after she flew back last month that he was feeling better already.

He was checked in to a hospital yesterday due to some chest pains, then roughly an hour he went through cardiac arrest. I don't remember the details, it doesn't matter.

I hate how when you first hear it, shock is all there is and you don't really feel anything. Then it hits you and it just overwhelms you.

A few things about my lolo...

It was my lolo who actually made me appreciate math. Maybe appreciate isn't the right word, but rather he made me understand how the thing works. I'd go visit them in Sta. Mesa and he'd spend an hour and a half helping me out and giving me tips on how to better understand the whole thing.

He was also the one who taught me how to play chess. It took me sometime to actually remember how to play. I recall asking him to go over how each piece would move. And when I started to really play, he never would say no to a game if I asked. He also gave me my first chess set. It was the chess set he used to play with before.

There are more but I'd rather leave it at that.

not so much with spelling, more so with grammar. Actually, I get really annoyed with those text messages “kain na me!” GRRR!!!

more out of curiosity, than for health reasons

a strawberry, since I like that fruit.

19.How many hours of sleep do you need to function?
back in college, 4 hours, but now…. 4 hours! Hahaha! But I can’t do this all week, I’d need the weekend to catch up. 6 if I don’t want to mess up my weekend.

If literal floor with no aerobed, etc – sometime in 2004

yup yup, even simple road trips perk me up!

this is a rather dumb question, since every one chooses the 1 great friend.(me too) maybe then should make it 1 great friend or 10 really good friends. That might make it a bit more difficult.

said by someone I know and they mean it, I would get offended, but by a stranger, I’d just ignore him or her.

of course, I have friends of the opposite sex. Friends are who they are irrelevant of their sex.

yeah, I don’t see a problem with it. Though like what others have said, it would be nice if it leads to something more.

First day of work in a few hours from now. I'm a bit nervous and excited cause unlike other first days of work, this one is a full time job!

As some of my friends here have said, I've officially resigned as the president of the unemployed pinoys here in our group! Hahaha!

I know it's late and I should be sleeping, I guess I'm a bit cranky cause it's been a long day and I'm tired.

What the hell is wrong with multiply's cross posting option?!?! It isn't doing what it's supposed to do! 2 months ago, it was so easy, I would just write my entry on blogspot and within a day it'll be up on my multiply account as well.

Most people wonder why keep my blogspot account. It's just so much more convenient, given that you can post entries and you have the option of changing the post date. It's not like you have time to sit down in front of your computer at the end of the day. That's pretty much the only reason I still maintain this account.

One last thing I hate with the cross-post option is that if you do it manually, you have to uncheck all the other entries that you have from your blogspot or other blog. And this you have to do everytime even if the other entries are already posted on your blog. What's worse, it's not like you are just unchecking 10-20 entries, but for those who blog many times, I have to uncheck around 200 boxes! It's just damn tiring to do it. Argh!!!
