past few days...

just got back from chicago, was rather fortunate since i was able to get on an earlier flight going back home. i was supposed to take the 1235pm flight, but since i was early enough, i was still able to get on board the 11am flight! one of the benefits of arriving early! =) it also helped that i didn't have anything to check-in.

i was in chicago to help out bridget, my soon to be sis-in-law. it was great being able to hang out with her!

saturday was the only day that we were actually able to go into chicago proper and act like tourists. we went up the Sears tower, the pics i took from the top i posted on my flickr account (if you want to check it out, just click on the link on the sidebar). only know did i realize that i never got to tak e a pic of the building itself! whoops!

again, i'd like to say thank you to david and cheryl for your wonderful hospitality. it was really great seeing you again. see you guys again this Christmas!

i don't think there is really any kind of message im trying to say aside from what it literally says. this was written only a few months ago, when frances went back home to spend her summer break in manila. it was roughly this time that i really started going back to the gym. i realized that i needed to start losing weight since its not like i can easily lose so much weight so soon.

my birthday!

today is my 26th birthday!

had a nice day! had breakfast with my dad to start my day, attended Mass, some errands and a class in the afternoon and early evening. and to end my day, had dinner at a nice italian restaurant with franny, my dad and tina.

my dad is arriving tomorrow!!! ill be picking him up at newark airport around 1pm. just wanted to share the news to everyone. ive been looking forward to his visiting me here. the last time he came here was in oct 2001, just a few months after i moved to new york.

i haven't been able to blog that much. for some reason, i just can't seem to find the urge to really write what has been going on lately.

oh, i was able to get back to my routine in the gym. my workouts have been good, though i still havent broken the 235lbs barrier.

a quick rant

rant --> I need to get back to the gym! I feel a bit sluggish! I haven't been able to hit the gym the past few days lately. Lately due to the weather and also to my own laziness. Hopefully, this doesn't ruin my weight loss schedule.

october

can't believe its october already. how time really does fly!

almost every year, i tell myself that i will start on my Christmas shopping. i hate having to shop a week or two before the 25th. its almost impossible to do any other errands you need to do if you do decide to shop then.

maybe this year, ill be able to do better and be able to get most shopping done earlier.
