the weekend of snow!
more than likely, most of you must have heard that we here in new york had a record-breaking amount of snowfall over the weekend. i actually wasn't able to take any pictures when the snow was falling or right after it stopped. but in case you would like to see some pics, let me direct you to my friend's blog where they posted some pics during the whole thing.
actually i did manage to take a pic the next night. i took it after my price theory class. it was a nice night, its the pic of fordham's keating hall and eddie's parade. ive been taking many pics of that area during the different seasons but i really liked it even more given that it was a nice calm night with a fall moon in the background.
it was really bad during the time when the snow was falling. right when it was over it was amazing to see how almost anything that was left outside was covered in snow. cars were buried and if not for the side view mirrors you wouldn't see them at all. if there is something which is annoying right after is when the snow begins to melt. it is just such a hassle to get around! the best way to describe the slush is to liken it to a slurpee, but just make it made of mud!
good thing though that the weather for the next few days will be really nice! it will be all above-freezing temperatures which will really help get rid of all the remaining snow and slush.
below is the pic of fordham.
